This two-day meeting will offer presentations and discussions on various topics to include:
- Motor fuel tax issues
- State sales and use
- IRS Updates
- Audit discussions
And much more! CLE and CPE continuing education credits will be awarded.
CPE Credit Information:
For purposes of CPE accreditation, the program will be a Group-Live format focused on the Taxes field of study. The sessions will be developed to educate beginning and intermediate levels of industry tax professionals after which participants will have increased their knowledge of current tax issues of specific interest to the industry as well as refreshed their knowledge of broader tax provisions that they might encounter in their work. There are no prerequisites or advance preparation necessary for the Forum and materials will be provided on site. API is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have the final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.

Deadline for Sponsor Payment, Cancellations, and Refunds:
Payment is due in full at the time of registration. If you require an invoice, your payment is due thirty (30) days from the receipt of your invoice. Full payment must be received to API no later than Friday, April 11, 2025.
Sponsors may cancel their obligation up to Friday, April 11, 2025. However, 50% of the fee for sponsors is nonrefundable. Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Refunds will not be given on cancellations received after Friday, April 11, 2025
Application Deadline
Sponsors, if your application is for the sponsorship of items that need to be designed and produced, such lanyards, please submit your online applications by Tuesday, April 15th, so that we have time to have those items produced and shipped to Houston, TX in time for the start of the meeting.

Upon receipt of our application, you will be contacted by the API Registrar (Aeyesha) to confirm your application, method of payment, and let you know how the collection process for the following items:

Reservations Cutoff Date: May 5, 2025
After this date and time, reservations will be accepted on a space and room type availability basis and at the hotel’s best rate available.

Room Guarantee and Reservation Cancellation: A credit card guarantee is required to confirm and hold everyone’s reservation. Cancellations must be received by the hotel at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to arrival and a cancellation number must be obtained or the card will be charged for the first night’s room rate. The hotel is responsible for informing guests of this requirement. API assumes no responsibility. Any payments received by the hotel as a result of late cancellations or no-shows will be credited to API’s room block for attrition purposes.

Cancellations, Refunds, and Substitutions:
Cancellations and request for refunds must be made in writing and sent to [email protected] by Friday, May 9, 2025. Cancellation shall be effective, final, and binding upon receipt by API. Cancellation requests received by May 9, 2025, will receive a refund of the registration fee less a $100 cancellation fee and will be processed in the original form of payment. Refunds are not provided for cancellation requests received after May 9, 2025. Substitutions are welcome.
