API will host the Sixth Offshore Structures Reliability Conference (OSRC). This event follows on the informative conferences hosted by the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) in Europe in 2012, 2016 and 2022 and hosted by API in Houston in 2014 and 2018.
Reason For Attending
The conference brings together practitioners and end-users of structural design and operational reliability with the aim to share the collective knowledge gained from decades of global oil & gas experience alongside that from the newer energy sectors, in particular offshore wind.
In past conferences, as well as sharing best practice, knowledge and technology gaps have been identified and discussions have directly driven safety and cost improvements via standardization of company practices and improvements in global standards.
In this conference, there will be reflections on fixed jackets and deepwater floating structures, but also specific deeper discussions around foundation challenges, interfaces with pipelines & risers, alignment of API and ISO standards, and our first session covering the transferable skills yet different challenges with offshore wind turbines & substations.
The conference will bring together those with deep understanding of theoretical reliability modelling, standards development and regulators, with industry practitioners focused on concept selection, design, construction, installation, operation integrity management and decommissioning.

The OSRC Organizing Committee will accept keynote lectures, papers and presentations. An abstract needs to be submitted for each. Call for abstracts will open on November 15, 2023. Key dates are as follows:
- Abstract deadline: January 15, 2024
- Acceptance notifications: February 29, 2024

Deadline for Sponsor and Exhibitor Cancellations and Refunds:
Payment is due in full at the time of registration. If you require an invoice, your payment is due thirty (30) days from the receipt of your invoice. Full payment must be received to API no later than Friday, August 30, 2024.
Sponsors and Exhibitors may cancel their obligation up to Friday, August 30, 2024. However, 50% of the fee for sponsors and for exhibitors is nonrefundable. Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Refunds will not be given on cancellations received after Friday, August 30, 2024.

Deadlines:
Sponsors, if your application is for the sponsorship of items that need to be designed and produced, such as bags, lanyards, app. etc., please submit your online applications by Friday, August 30, 2024, so that we have time to have those items produced and shipped to Houston in time for the start of the meeting.
Marketing Requirements:
Upon receipt of our application, you will be contacted by the API Registrar (Veronica White) to confirm your application, method of payment, and let you know how the collection process for the following items:
- Marketing contact’s full name and email address
- Company logo in EPS or Adobe Illustrator (ai) format
- Company URL
- Company description not to exceed 100 words

Cancellations, Refunds, and Substitutions:
Cancellations and request for refunds must be made in writing and sent to [email protected] by Friday, September 6, 2024. Cancellation shall be effective, final, and binding upon receipt by API. Cancellation requests received by Friday, September 6, 2024. will receive a refund of the registration fee less a $100 cancellation fee. Refunds are not provided for cancellation requests received after Friday, September 6, 2024, and will be processed in the original form of payment. Substitutions are welcome.
